"The Midnight Meat Train" will go before the cameras this summer.
- Variety reports that the long-mooted film version of Clive Barker's short story "The Midnight Meat Train" will go before the cameras this summer, as a co-production of Lakeshore Entertainment and Lionsgate, the latter of which will release the film in 2007. FX veteran Patrick (UNDERWORLD films) Tatopoulos will make his feature directorial debut on the movie, and Jeff Buhler adapted Barker's tale (originally published in one of the BOOKS OF BLOOD) of a New York City photographer who goes in search of a subway killer and discovers true horrors on the tracks. Casting has yet to be announced.
